YOUR RIGHTS AS A VOTER
In New York, it’s illegal to be asked for ID to vote. The exception is if it is your first time voting. If you registered by mail, you could be asked for a photo ID.
If you mess up on a ballot, go back to your ED table and ask for another! You get three tries.
If you are not on the voter roll, are told you are at the wrong site, or encounter any other problem, you can request an affidavit ballot and you will still be able to vote.
